Upon entering our home, you will feel the charm and sense the warmth and comfort of daily life at Stirling Manor Nursing Home. All of our rooms and lounges have been specially designed to create a relaxing and comfortable home-like atmosphere.
Our facility allows residents and guests to experience our home-like setting in an environment designed for comfort and care.
The hair salon is managed by a private hairdresser, who visits Stirling Manor weekly for hair services. Barber services are offered every 6 weeks. The salon offers our Residents an array of services in the convenience of their own home.
Stirling Manor boasts several book collections in various parts of the building. Residents are welcome to borrow any of the books in our libraries and return them when finishes. We also access the “Books to Go” program from the Stirling Rawdon Public Library on a monthly basis.
Our Tuck Shop, for those in need of greeting cards, treats and sweets, is located in the floor one hallway. Items purchased can be paid for directly or billed to the resident’s trust account.
For the comfort and safety of our Residents who choose to smoke, Stirling Manor has a Licensed Controlled Smoking Area. Residents will be required to pass a Safe Smoking Assessment prior to receiving approval for access to the controlled smoking area. The Smoking Room is fully self-contained and ventilated in accordance with the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, so as not to disturb our non-smoking Residents, guests and staff members. The remainder of Stirling Manor is strictly non-smoking.
